Atelier Nikki is all about inspiring, small-scale workshops in a relaxed atmosphere. To ensure that everything runs smoothly and clearly, we have established the terms and conditions outlined alongside.

Terms & conditions

1. General

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all workshops, courses and activities organised by Atelier Nikki.

1.2 By registering for a workshop, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.

1.3 Atelier Nikki reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most recent version will always apply.

2. Registration and Payment

2.1 A registration is only confirmed once Atelier Nikki has received full payment for the workshop.

2.2 Upon receipt of payment, the participant will receive a confirmation of registration.

2.3 If payment is not received within the specified payment period, Atelier Nikki reserves the right to cancel the reservation and make the place available to other participants.

3. Cancellation by the Participant

3.1 If a participant cancels up to 14 days before the start of the workshop, the full participation fee will be refunded.

3.2 If a participant cancels between 14 and 7 days before the start of the workshop, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded.

3.3 If a participant cancels less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, no refund will be given.

3.4 A participant may always arrange for another person to take their place, provided Atelier Nikki is informed in advance.

4. Illness and Inability to Attend

4.1 If a participant is unable to attend due to illness or another unforeseen circumstance, Atelier Nikki must be informed as soon as possible.

4.2 In the event of illness, Atelier Nikki may, at its discretion, convert the participation fee into a credit for a future workshop or provide a partial or full refund.

4.3 In the case of a last-minute cancellation, Atelier Nikki may request proof of the reason for non-attendance.

5. Cancellation by Atelier Nikki

5.1 Atelier Nikki reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to an insufficient number of participants, illness of the instructor or other circumstances beyond its control.

5.2 In such cases, the participant will receive a full refund of the participation fee already paid, or may choose to transfer their registration to another date.

5.3 Atelier Nikki is not liable for any other costs incurred by the participant, such as travel or accommodation expenses.

6. Liability

6.1 Participation in workshops is entirely at the participant's own risk.

6.2 Atelier Nikki is not liable for loss, theft or damage to participants' personal belongings.

6.3 Atelier Nikki is only liable for direct damage resulting from wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Atelier Nikki.

7. Damage to Property

7.1 Participants are expected to handle Atelier Nikki's materials, tools, furniture, artworks and other property with due care.

7.2 Any damage caused by a participant through wilful misconduct, negligence or careless behaviour may be charged to the participant concerned.

7.3 Any damage must be reported to Atelier Nikki immediately.

8. Photographs and Visual Material

8.1 Photographs may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes, including use on the Atelier Nikki website, social media channels or printed materials.

8.2 Participants who do not wish to be photographed must inform Atelier Nikki before the workshop begins.

9. Privacy

9.1 Personal data will only be used for communication relating to workshops and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

10. Governing Law

10.1 All agreements between Atelier Nikki and participants are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

10.2 Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
