Over ten mornings or evenings, I’ll teach you the art of botanical drawing. I tailor the lessons to your starting level, so you can develop your skills and make real progress at your own pace.
Learn to observe and capture plants and flowers in a truly special way during our Botanical Drawing Workshop. Across 10 inspiring three-hour lessons, you’ll gradually develop your drawing skills. You’ll learn to look closely at shape, structure, light and colour, and translate what you see into a refined botanical drawing.
Participants are welcome to bring their own materials: an A3 and A4 sketchbook, graphite pencils, erasers and Polychromos coloured pencils. Individual Polychromos pencils can also be purchased from Atelier Nikki during the lessons.
There is plenty of attention to technique, composition and the use of materials. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some drawing experience, you’ll work at your own level and discover how careful observation can lead to surprisingly beautiful results.
Price for 10 lessons, excluding materials: €250
We’ll take a one-week break during the autumn holiday, so there will be no class on 22 October.

Learn to draw & paint convincingly
In her atmospheric studio, surrounded by a lush garden that offers fresh inspiration in every season, Nikki welcomes small groups of students to exclusive drawing and painting workshops. The focus is on botanical art: capturing flowers, leaves and natural forms with attention, precision and feeling. But because the groups are deliberately kept small, there is plenty of room for personal preferences and individual development.
Under Nikki’s guidance, you will spend ten sessions not only developing your technical skills, but also discovering your own visual language. Her international training and experience – from Florence to California – provide a rich source of knowledge and inspiration. Yet the aim is not to develop her style, but yours.
Step by step, you will learn to observe more closely, work more freely and gain confidence in your own creative abilities. You may discover talents you never knew you had and develop an artistic hand that is unmistakably your own.
At the end of the course, you will go home not only with artwork worthy of a place on the wall, but with something far more valuable: the realisation that there is an artist within you, waiting to be seen.
